Laura Vinopal, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Laura Vinopal grew up in Mauston. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UW Stevens Point, and then achieved her doctoral degree from a joint AuD program from UW Stevens Point & UW Madison in 2007. After college, she returned to the area with her husband Frank and worked in a local hospital for several years. In 2013, she opened Professional Hearing Care. Both Laura and Frank feel fortunate to have deep roots in the community. Frank is a partner at MBE CPA’s, and you’ll often see them volunteering and attending local events together. Laura is passionate about making a difference in the hearing impaired community, and takes pride in staying up to date with the ever-changing technology for her patients. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys being a mother of three, traveling, running, biking, boating, and being outdoors.
Colleen Daines, HIS
Office Manager, Hearing Instrument Specialist
Colleen joined Professional Hearing Care in July of 2017. She spent 17 years in the travel industry, and 12 years working for a local Community Health Center managing a very busy dental practice. Upon joining Professional Hearing Care she was soon inspired to learn and grow in the audiology world. In October 2019 she successfully acquired her Wisconsin license for Hearing Instrument Specialist and is excited to work alongside Laura to continue to learn and grown in the audiology field. Colleen grew up in La Crosse. Together with her husband, John, they raised 2 children in Cashton, and now reside outside of Ontario. In her free time, she enjoys the quiet country life, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Brit grew up around the Mauston/Elroy area. After high school she moved to LaCrosse to become a cosmetologist, which she practiced for 5 years. Brit missed the small town feel which moved her back to Mauston. She recently joined Professional Hearing Care after working at a local hospital for 5 years as a Medical Assistant. Brit is excited to continue helping patients improve their quality of life. She is motivated and eager to learn more about hearing health. When Brit is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Gavin, and husband, Andrew. She loves to watch movies, gardening, and being with family.
